Service Description
Hall hire/Hall booking/Venue hire Available Monday's, Wednesday's, Friday's and Saturday`s. Total Session Duration 14 hours Full Day (Not including Bank Holiday's) Please be advised that a full 16 hours provides you with time to set up allowing your special day to run smoothly. It also provides you with enough time to run your event smoothly. We recommend you get the full day if you are preparing the hall for a sit-down meal. There is a different capacity amount for groups based on the type of event you are having. We are happy to advise so please contact us for any clarification. The outside area is included. This allows access to a covered area while in the main hall. You must agree to closing access to area at 11pm. Smoking is not allowed on premises and guest must go off site to smoke. This outside space is not permitted for access after 10pm. Should you need the hall, tables and chairs decorating we can link you to a service which will provide the best cost for hall decoration, with a variety of colours to meet your event needs. MAV UK Hall provides a family-friendly atmosphere in which service users access low-cost space for hire. We ensure access for local and the extended community. All users must support the ethos of improving our community. MAV generates an income through hall hire. The income is then reinvested in the project and building.
Cancellation Policy
1.You can apply to book the community centre in person, phone or via the MAV UK (Mothers Against Violence) website. 2.MAV UK will send you the payment details via text or WhatsApp message including all instructions and payment details. 3.To secure your booking you should make a deposit payment of £200. 4.The Hall hire cost, any additional hours or items must be paid at least 30 days prior to the event, otherwise MAV UK have the rights to cancel your booking assuming the client is no longer interested or failed to comply with terms of hire and payment request made by MAV UK via email, text or a phone call. 5. Regular/Block Bookings: In the case of a cancellation of a regular/block booking, less than thirty days of The Hiring date, The Hirer shall pay to Mothers against Violence the total cost oof the security holding deposit of £200. 6. Bookings made for consecutive days are charged as one booking. Booking non-consecutive days are separate bookings. 7.The Deposit will not be charged to the client if thirty days of cancellation is given in writing by the hirer. If a cancellation is made less than thirty days before the booking date payment of £200 will be forfeited. 8.The Security Holding Deposit is separate from the hall hire cost and will be refunded after each event in up to seven working days if no terms of hire a violated. 9.The client may lose their deposit if the following terms and conditions are violated: - Client failed to leave on time before the session end time. Please, note that your any overstay after your time of hire will incur a penalty of £150 for each hour of overstaying. - Client failed to dispose of rubbish in the provided bin facilities in front of the MAV UK Building and left their rubbish inside of the premises or in front of the in facilities. A penalty of £50 will be applied. - Client failed to clean the surrounding area from any litter including garden, parking, walkway or terrace area. A penalty of £25 will be imposed. - Client has damaged equipment or property. The penalty will be evaluated depending on the damage including labour cost and other factors. The client might be subject to legal action 10.No violence or antisocial behaviour will be tolerated on our premises and the full force of the law will be applied to keep the order and the local community safe. Penalty of £200 will be applied. 11.By processing further with your booking and making a deposit payment of £200 you agree to the above Terms and Conditions.
