01.MAV UK Youth Enrichment Programme
The MAV UK Youth Enrichment Programme provides creative, physical and wellbeing activities for children and young people aged 5–18, focusing on engaging those from Black and racially minoritised backgrounds. The programme creates safe, inspiring spaces where young people can build confidence, develop skills and connect with positive mentors and role models. Current Activity Highlights
02.Making Children & Young People Matter
The main aim of Mothers Against Violence is to work with young people to ensure they are safe sound and secure in their local communities. We also work to provide then with the support they need to establish themselves as fully integrated young people with the ability to enrich others. We believe children and young people matter now more than ever.
03.Evidenced Based Parenting Support
MAV UK use evidence-based parenting programmes which include the evidenced based model Triple P Parenting. The twelve weeks, in home support programme and the 8-week parenting group sessions provide parenting with support in developing skills to manage challenging behaviour. The programme is lead by a professional counsellor who has experience in working with young people with behavioural difficulties.
04.Road Map for Business Development
MAV UK have supported the rehabilitation of many offenders within the prison service. We are committed to developing rehabilitation for n those who our serving sentences at Her Majesty Pleasure. For over a decade we have had a commitment to victims of crime. Many of those victims want the criminal justice system to ensure justice is being served, and those criminals who have served their time return to communities reformed and able to live as law abiding citizens, contributing in a positive way
