In addition to working with young people, [MAVUK] worked with Greater Manchester Police. [MAVUK] provided a workshop which contributed to the training of new police officers.

3. Greater Manchester Probation Service

Funded by the Allen Lane Foundation and Greater Manchester Probation, the Business Development programme has supported over 45 people to date — offenders who are preparing to leave custody, and those who have already left — preparing them for work and to set up their own business.

4. Home Office — Knife Community Fund

The STOP AND REACH project was extended for a further 5 months, with additional funding from the Home Office Knife Community Fund, enabling [MAVUK] to extend the intervention to young people outside their Greater Manchester catchment areas.

JBDA operates as a group within [MAVUK]'s wider community offering.
